![]() ![]() With Plex it seems I need to go into my add-on's or make it a favorite to use it, and it doesn't handle the interface of my media like Kodi alone did with Emby. I used to have Emby running silently in the background and Kodi looked like Kodi meaning all my movies and TV shows where on my home page as 'Recently added' or 'Next Up TV' or 'Continue Watching'. My home theater with surround and a nice big TV is where I go when I want a true movie experience or just want to chill on my couch watching TV shows. Emby did a great job handling and remembering my watched and resume status between all my devices. When I was on my phones or other TV's in my house (aka, bedroom, workout room) I used a FireTV with the Emby app. ![]() When I was on Kodi 17 I was still using Emby server for my media handling back end. Sorry for the weird title, I'll try to explain this as best as I can. Seems like if YouTube has the show it should be available with exodus redux/real debrid Obviously this isn't how the two add ons present shows but it is how ignorant I am to consider the comparison □. Right now I'm using the YouTube add on instead of the exodus redux add on. If anyone can help me out with this I'd greatly appreciate it. I am not very tech savvy so I try to do as much as I can can before I come ask dumb questions □. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled as well. I'm using the newest version that has universal scrapers and no lambda scrapers. I've done hours of research and I'm stumped. When I select the first one exodus redux goes through the list and comes back with that. I have a real debrid account and the RD links will be at the top of the list. When I use exodus redux to search for television series/shows I usually get quite a few links but, much more often than not, I get a "no stream available" message. I am running Kodi Lea 18.2 on a firestick. Maybe someone else has a tip for me, what could I try? USERNAME: PASSWORD is also output in the log, although I have set the login correctly under File Manager and also a rudimentary filling occurs as soon as I display the individual albums via music, so the filling is done via Artist Slideshow.Ī search has not yielded anything suitable for me, although I have already tried quite a bit (eg IP address instead of name of the NAS) etc. This happens both on the Windows PC and on the shields 15: 54: 53.495 T: 19168 ERROR: XFILE :: CDirectory :: GetDirectory - Error getting smb: // USERNAME: PASSWORD Nas / artistinformation / Lonnie Donegan / I have outsourced the interpreter info on my NAS to be able to access it from all devices (WindowsPC and two Nvidia Shield).Īs soon as I run Artwork (for my music), I get a lot of error messages of the kind in LOG I have a little problem with the artwork beef and an extra directory for the artist info. one you can comfortably see from a metre or two away and scroll through for shortcuts (like browser bookmarks)? There's no command line argument to make Firefox open full screen (according to their docs/forums), and I can't open the menu (it flickers open and disappears) to install any add-on to do it.Īm I on the wrong path here? How do I get a full-screen browser going in Kodi? If I can't, is there a desktop environment anyone knows about that has a similar interface to Kodi, ie. It launches Firefox, hooray! But it opens to cover a fraction of the screen. Second I saw there's a fork of Program Advanced Launcher, which I installed via zip. First I read about Chrome Launcher, but all the posts and documentation I found for that said that it has to be added via Super Repo, which seems a bit dodgy and doesn't have a Leia section anyway. Ultimately the most reliable way to use a web-based streaming service is via a web browser. but the two problems I encounter are (a) these addons are usually weeks to years behind the current API or scraping structure of the sites, and (b) there aren't necessarily add-ons for less well-known streaming services. I've tried the seperate add-ons for Netflix, iView, etc. It would be nice to do this directly from Kodi so I don't have to log out of my Kodi session, log in as a different user, launch Firefox and browse to the site. I often find myself wanting to watch Netflix or ABC iView (Australian) or any other number of streaming sites on via my media box (Mac Mini running Ubuntu 18.04.1, with Kodi 18.2 running as a standalone session). ![]()
